Established in 1988.

Chalk Capital's origins trace back to 1988, when our Toowoomba-based team first established a local advisory practice within the Morgans network. From the beginning, the focus was on providing trusted investment advice and building long term relationships within the Darling Downs community.

Over the decades, the business evolved from its foundations in stockbroking to become a comprehensive financial advice and wealth management firm, supporting individuals, families and businesses across generations. That enduring client-first philosophy remains at the core of everything we do.

In July 2026, the team made a considered decision to step away from the Morgans brand and launch Chalk Capital. This transition reflects a natural progression - allowing us to operate as a privately owned firm while preserving the experience, relationships and local commitment built over more than 35 years.

Today, Chalk Capital represents the next chapter of a long-standing Toowoomba practice: locally owned, and focused on helping our clients build, protect and sustain wealth with clarity and confidence.
